Close-Up - microengraving on £1 coin

Sorry - I haven't been keeping up lately, but I took this a couple of days ago when testing some extension tubes and thought of the community. Not quite as clear as I would like, I was using a lot of magnification (about 1.5X) and Minolta lenses and tubes adapted to a Canon body, which means that there is at least one crappy adapter lens in the way...

I'll try to respond a bit more often in future.

How interesting. I didn't even know those words were there.
Neither did I!
That is fascinating - I hadn't realised that was there.
Neither did I. Reminds me of a freeform RPG I played in once, playing a pirate who for no good reason* got very suspicious of a lawyer who was offering very lucrative contracts to carry legitimate cargoes. So unlike most of the other pirates I didn't sign. Which turned out to be a very wise decision because the line for the signature was actually 1-point type in which you agreed to sell your character's immortal soul to satan, the lawyer's real identity...

*Except that the character was being played by Phil Masters, gamer supreme, who tends to get this sort of role in freeform games because he can pull them off.
Nice!
Wow! That is really tiny engraving.
