Goodness, they're exquisite.
THOSE ARE SO GORGEOUS!!! O my gosh!!

Every time I see a man in an "outfit" I will go out of my way to compliment him and tell him he's lookin' DASH! Well,.. guess what? I only have to dish out like ... a compliment a month, tops.

I'd love to dole out more, but..... *shrug* mostly I just see men in their t-shirts and jeans or track suits. That is not DRESSING UP, that is not an OUTFIT, that is putting on clothes. THAT IS DIFFERENT.
Those are spectacular. They look mid eighteenth century - I can just picture John Rawlings, a young gentleman with a taste for beautiful clothes and the hero of some of my favourite books, wearing them.
I do like the one on the right. I think I want it - can you see yourself strutting down the street in that? Beautiful!
As an amateur needlewoman my first reaction to this was, "I wonder how long it took some poor soul to embroider that lot." They are stunning and I think even today's House of Dior would struggle to produce something like them.
Great prompt answer, and such lovely garments! From a purely visual, esthetical point of view it's a pity these kind of clothes have come out of fashion. ^^
