It's very impressive, in a fairy-tale castle sort of way, I always think.
I agree. Looking at this, I expect a princess to come walking out, rather than lawyerly-type people.
I will now display my total ignorance by asking whether it's a repurposed church or whether it's actually a religious court. Either way, what a great old building. And I love the symmetry you've captured.
LOL. Now, from what I've been told, it's similar to one of our courthouses here in the US... only prettier.
Much prettier - and it really does look to me as if it started life as a church. It's that circular window, I think, that gives me that impression.
Ooh! I was there!!! I mean, with you. And I've been inside too on a case I was on - as a lawyer, not a Defendant...erm, yeah. It's very plush inside. Nice photo.
