Victor

Oh dear - I am rather playing catch-up! You are about to get spammed with a whole pile of pictures, I'm afraid. I'll try to get them in the right order...

This one is for Victor:

Plant.

This is Caucasone - she was meant to be a miniature patio rose - but nobody told her... she is now over 4ft high. She is beautifully scented, if a little delicately so.

Toy

Now a post for 'toy'. It is wonderful to see, in this age of electronic toys and gadgetry, that boys can still have hours of fun with something as simple as a tiddler net and a bucket. (Granddad was sitting on a seat nearby taking care of the bucket containing the 'catch'.)

I remember doing exactly the same thing, in the same place a very long time ago - and then introducing my daughter to the same form of amusement. Both D & J were fascinated by the idea of fishing for tiddlers in the lake - and it kept them busy for over 2 hours until they had to throw the tiddlers back as it was time to go home!

Stone.

And I have finally caught up. This is the picture for 'stone'. It is a fragment of a 1,000+ year old Celto-norse cross. We have a lot of these around here...
