Sour

Roasted rhubarb with (it turned out) not quite enough sugar to sweeten it up this late in the season. Though, as you see, enough sugar to catch and burn a bit at one side. Sigh. I usually stew it and make sure it gets sweetened up properly, but this was mouth-puckering.



Happy ending? Involved yoghurt and maple syrup.
