Is bad member....

I've been shamelessly MIA for months, but this one I can do! Not current pics, because it's too early in the season for them to have turned yet, but these pics are from my little forest of Japanese maples that have grown up beneath a pine tree. The progenitor of these trees has died, but it lives on in its many, many offspring. They are always pretty, but in the autumn they are breathtaking.

I seem to take photos of them every year at some point, so not sure if these are last year's or from even earlier. The trees continue to grow larger, and more sprout from time to time, so I'm thinking maybe even earlier for at least one of them. The close-up of leaves I think was last fall when the light was just right.

This sign was on a dock in Scotland. We had a lot of fun trying to figure out what it meant. Still don't know.
