Autumn

I've been waiting for it to actually show up here in Phoenix, but we're still reaching 100 degree days (although the nights have cooled off). So I dug around in the archives for last December's pictures (when Autumn finally comes to Phoenix):

Some color from outside my old office complex.

My favorite season! The red leaves against the blue sky are perfect.

I think it was January when our son and DIL visited Arizona last. They were thrilled to run around in a T-shirt, jeans, and a light jacket!
Yeah, "cold" lasts usually from around Thanksgiving until New Year's Day, if we're lucky (last year we had some REAL cold -- below freezing for three nights in a row!). After New Year's, it's basically spring until late May (that's the time of year people come here and go crazy for the place).
What lovely colours - our leaves tend to dry - and then blow in the first gale through.
We don't have a lot of trees here that change like that -- either they're green all year 'round or they just turn brown and drop off, but those sycamores that grow in office complexes (where they water every day), those can be beautiful!
