Orange

Had a choice of three chestnuts for this one, but choose the one that was all decked out and working.

GORGEOUS! I want so badly to own a horse again. I'll just have to live vicariously through this photo.
*happy sigh* there's nothing more pleasing to the eye than a beautiful, sleek horse!
BTW, I won't object to more photos :D
LOL - I'll see what I can do....
Oh my goodness - that is a most gloriously orange twosome.
Lots of orange in that pic...
So many shades of orange, and what a fabulous horse.
He belonged to the professional huntsman for one of our local fox hunting clubs, so he was talented as well as impressive looking.
What a healthy gleam. There is something soul satisfying about a beautiful horse.
Beauty...
So gorgeous!

I'm looking at the clothing and hair of the woman on the right, and wondering whether that's an older shot, or if it's just that horse events attract people who dress a bit retro?

In either case, thanks for sharing!
ROFL I think you're the only one who picked up on that. It's actually me - and yes, it was taken in the 1970s. Both Mike (the professional huntsman on the horse) and the horse are long gone to greener pastures.
You were stylin'! Also, I love how the softer orange of your outfit plays against the bright orange of the rider's coat. Thanks for introducing us to Mike and his horse.
LOL - I don't know about that - I was wearing hotpants (a fad that came and went very quickly, thank God) for cripe's sake. And apparently no bra. Who knew I had such pointy little boobs? LOL
Mike's coat was red, actually, although in the sunlight there it did seem to be a reddish orange, didn't it? I just picked the horse color, didn't even notice I was wearing orange until after I'd put the picture up. :)
