Green

My kitchen window box that I planted out with my favourite herbs in spring. Unfortunately it no longer looks this nice and is due for a bit of a tidy up.

You are more organised than I am - I always plan to grow herbs - but never get around to it.
This is the first year I've actually got around to doing it...it was lovely because it not only looked nice, but the smell was divine.
Very pretty. What's in it? Parsley? Other things?
It was mint, oregano, thyme, parsley, garlic chives and mini basil. I won't bother with the mini basil again because even though it smells and tastes as good as the standard one, it doesn't stand up to the constant picking and died off very quickly. The chives and the mint are the only ones still doing well, so I'll have to do some re-planting.
I see mint - yum.
Yes, and as is typical of mint, it is still doing really well, as are the chives... everything else pretty much needs replacing.
Very nice!

I have the same soap dispenser...yay gadget! LOL!
Hee! Soap dispenser snap!
I always think I should plant herbs, but I never get around to it. Nothing like fresh herbs to make a dish yummy.
They were so handy, and the basil made the kitchen smell beautiful! Unfortunately they didn't live as long as I would have liked.
I love having fresh herbs handy - is that a little pull out thing to water them by?
Yes, it's a self-watering pot, so you just fill the reservoir every few days (depending on how hot it's been).

It is so handy having them in the kitchen, but mostly I just loved the smell!
