Touch

I made this:

And it is wonderful to touch! (Velvety thick chenille yarn... and the finished afghan probably weighs about ten pounds! :D) It is multicolored because I didn't have a project in mind when I found the original yarn on clearance, started the afghan, and then found out it had been on clearance because Lion Brand stopped making that particular kind of yard--so I had to grab what I could in complimentary colors on eBay until I had it finished. :)

That does look beautifully warm - and nice to run the hands over.
A little too warm for this winter (we never even pulled out our heavy comforter this year!), but yes!
Very pretty, and it looks lovely and warm.

My cats would love that so much they would kneed it into a nasty thread-pulled mess, as I found out when I bought a lovely blue chenille throw years ago. *sigh*
They've done that with some of our throws and comforters, but so far most of the ones I've made have only been nice to sleep on, rather than snag! (Might just be luck, thus far.)
That looks delightfully tactile. I'm in awe when I look at the size!
It's a queen-sized bed. :)
Beautiful! And you must have to crank the AC way up to use it, but it would be worth it.
Yeah, it was on the bed for like a week this winter... (the really heavy comforters never got unpacked!)
