What an excellent picture that first one is. Although I think I am quite glad that we don't have snakes, really!
I've actually only SEEN one in the wild once (although I've heard them from a distance) -- rattlesnakes are the kindest of venomous snakes, really, since they do TELL you they're there before they strike. You're just silly if you get bit.
Personally, I prefer his cousin. I'm not sure I want to drink out of that mug, though!
The only problem with the mug is the tail hits my glasses....
