That arcade looks like an awesome place.
It is a wonderful place to look around. They are small shops with high quality merchandise, and on the top floor there are many bespoke tailors. I used to spend a lot of time in there when I lived in Sydney, just looking.
That arcade is beautiful. I hope it has good shops, too!
It has wonderful shops, all specialists in a particular quality item. Not so much on the ground floor. On the top floor there are a lot of bespoke tailors, or there were when I lived in Sydney 22 year ago.
What a stunningly beautiful place!
It is beautiful, and it is a wonderful place to browse. The shops are all small, and stock high quality items. On the top floor there are many bespoke tailors. My husband wanted a replacement for his much loved Greek skipper's hat. We found one in the Strand Arcade.
Although I despise shopping, spending an afternoon browsing the levels of the Strand seems as it if could be quite entertaining.

Lovely pictures.

Thank you.
It is, and when you get tired there are little cafes where you can rest and have a cup of tea or coffee, as the mood takes you.
What a beautiful collection! I love how the last one is reflected in the circular pond, with palm trees arching over it. ;o)
I have decided if or when I go to Sydney again, I will try to do bit better with pics, and replace some of these. I like the one with the pond, that turned out just the way I wanted it. Sydney still has some nice Victorian buildings. It is amazing that they haven't been knocked down to be replaced by skyscrapers. I'm sure some have been.
