catch up

I'm going to forget "arch" - I'd just have to drag out another old picture from our trip to the UK. But I can show you that when you look up (above) in my yard, you might see a hawk. And when you look down, at the right time of the year, you might see frog eggs and/or teeny tadpoles.

What a wonderful yard! That pond must be ever-fascinating.
It does bring a lot of wildlife to the yard. :) The hawk is sitting in a tree right beside the pond.
That hawk appears to be Lord of all He Surveys.
Look at all those tadpoles! I love frogs. And hawks. What a special place.
I'm very fond of my yard....
I love the tadpoles!
ohh, look at all those little froggy babies. :D

I always wanted a pond when I was growing up.
I have a bunch of them - of a sort. A water garden in a whisky barrel, three very small ponds in various flower beds, and then this one which is on the edge of the woods and big enough to be interesting but too shady for water lilys. But the frogs love it. :)
Frog spawn looks so cute, and then the tadpoles afterwards! ♥
