I did think of invading my daughter's private space - her desk always has a lot of lists on it, and on stickies all around her mirror, and her computer monitor - lists of things to do, points to make in essays, what to pack to go back to college, what to buy for friends' birthdays... But some of them have been binned before she went back to college after easter, and others are too personal.
But me? I don't do lists, apart from at work, which often have patients' names on, and so not shareable.
Then I saw my recipe book - these are the lists I write down carefully, refer to over and over, and often share with friends. The black line is because my book is on my little lectern and the weighted strings help keep the pages open for me when I cook.
