Insect

DSC_0100
The only insect on my hard drive - a butterfly. The plastic fencing was to keep the possums away from the garden.

Hm, if you're speaking of harddrives, then I'm glad there are no other bugs on it! ;o)
What a pretty specimen. It's so difficult to catch them with the camera, isn't it?
Indeed, bugs on hard drives are not a happy thought! I took this in my old garden, which was at a higher altitude, where the air was very pure. I don't see them now, as we live in the suburbs.
That's a really pretty butterfly. What kind is it?
I don't know for sure, but I think it may be a type of Monarch butterfly. We used to live at 300 feet above sea level, where the air was very pure, as we were surrounded by bushland. I used to see these butterflies regularly, but now that we live in the suburbs we don't get them in the garden any more, and also miss out on the beautiful birds we used to see.
After some search with the help of Google I have identified the butterfly as the Australian or Yellow Admiral.
That's a really nice shot.
Thank you.
That's very pretty. I've not seen one like that before.
I don't know for sure what type of butterfly it is, but think it may be a type of Monarch. We used to live at 300 feet above sea level, surrounded by bushland, and would see these regularly, as well as many types of beautiful birds. Sadly, we don't see them now that we live in the suburbs.
That is a lovely picture.
Thank you very much.
Very pretty:-)
How colorful! (And warm!)
