Taken last July in Hamburg, Germany, from the boat of our harbour tour. The famous St. Pauli Landing Piers are a major tourist attraction where all the tourist boats start as well some of the river ferries, and there are all kinds of restaurants and so on. This is the strip of water between the harbour wall and the piers.
The skerries in Bohuslän at the west coast of Sweden, about 1ookm north of Gothenburg. The sparkling on sunny days was just magic.
We took a day trip with one of the ferry boats through the skerries, and had about an hour break of one of the few islands not linked by bridges or dams, on the outer rim of the islands. We spent the whole time just sitting among the rocks an drinking in the sun, sea and the marvellous view.
Now I'm rather homesick and want to go back right away. *g*
