Family - Erulisse (one L)

I haven't posted for a while because I've been swamped with work, but this one I can do. Here's a scanned picture that my cousin sent me a few months ago. I use it as an avatar now, but I love the picture and the reminder it gives me of happy days so long ago. The picture was of my cousin Missy on the left, her older brother David in the middle, and I'm on the right. I estimate this was probably around 1960, possibly taken in Aspen where we always spent our summers. Missy and I are still close, David is no longer living. We're all a bit older now, but I'm not sure about wiser.

Missy David and I in Aspen 1960

That takes me back to the happy days of Keds and P.F. Flyers.
Yes, I miss my Keds. Maybe I should try and find a pair. They would be a lot of fun...

I love that - and you still look recognisable from that picture!
Oh thank you! I'm absolutely terrible at recognizing people. If I ever had to make a call on what a grown up looked like based on their childhood pictures, I would fail totally!

What a lovely picture.
Thanks so much. The three of us grew up together until we were in our teens when they moved to the other side of the state. My cousin and I are still close, although we live in different states. She was my bridesmaid, and I returned the favor at her wedding a few years later.

That's a terrific photo... looks like something out of LIFE magazine! I love the Keds and your boots. :)
I loved my boots. I often wore a western hat, cap pistols hung in a gunbelt around my hips, and my boots. I was a true child of the Wild West :-)

What a lovely picture, and such a sweet group of kids! ;o)
Oh, we were little hellions, but it was a different era and running wild was OK, especially during our summers.

That sounds still sweet in my book. ;o)
What a lovely photo, with memories of happy times. The three of you look so carefree.
We actually had a really nice childhood.

I love the hats! That's a great photo.
Thanks so much!

I bet you had as much fun as this looks:)
We had a pretty good childhood and my younger cousin and I were thick as thieves until she moved when I was in High School.
