The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear humanity is "humanism", and with it, the Renaissance and Renaissance architecture. (Not very surprising, I suppose, as French Renaissance architecture has been the research subject for my theses in history of art.) So have one of he finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Germany, the "Hotel zum Ritter" in Heidelberg.

I took the pic originally for the hair challenge, so it's just this detail shot of the lower right part, with no full-view shot.
