Sign

An extremely detailed street crossing sign I saw on a trip to the east coast a few years ago:

What a perfect answer to the prompt! But I wonder what people do who can't read, can't read well, or don't read or understand English... ;o)
I can't recall, but it's possible that the various options were accompanied by specific beeps or tones. The pictograms probably help, too (a bit).

Wow, that /is/ detailed...
By the time you read it, the light will have changed!
That's what I was thinking!
I love it!
I'm so glad I had my camera handy.
So many instructions! How did you ever make it across? Lol. I love interesting signs.
I was so amused by that one!
LOL - no doubts about what to do there. But the light will probably have changed three times while the poor pedestrian is reading all the instructions. ;)
I agree!!
Very detailed, but completely confusing. It made my brain tired trying to understand it.
I've never seen anything like it! Safer to just cower on the sidewalk.
YOu'd miss the walk signal just reading the sign to make sure you didn't screw up, LOL!
Very true!
*laughing* Wow!
If the pedestrian is too slow, do you think the drivers have permission to drive over them?
If the drivers are also reading signs as complicated as that, no one would ever dare to move!
