I love the idea of a 'hamlet'.

This one has about five or six houses and a chapel!

A very peaceful scene. I like the contrast of the whitewashed buildings against the browns and greens. And the brush and tree forming a frame on two sides.

I liked that contrast too - I was rather pleased with this :)

Such a pretty place! It looks lovely!

It is a tiny hamlet which is now only just outside town. When the houses and the chapel were first built it would have been a couple of miles out of town :(
