Plant.

This is Caucasone - she was meant to be a miniature patio rose - but nobody told her... she is now over 4ft high. She is beautifully scented, if a little delicately so.

I wonder if this is a new rose. I can't find her anywhere on the web. Google keeps asking if I want "Caucasian Rose." Er, no. She's a beauty!
I've just been out and looked at her label, in the pot with her. She is from the local supermarket, but it says 'Castle Collection' and her name is actually spelled Carcassone after a fortified town in France which, I'm guessing, has a castle. No sign of who bred her though.

Aha! I've found her - once I'd spelled it correctly!

Thank you very much! You know my fascination with roses, and each time I see a new one, I like to know who bred her. Looks as if a couple of Danes had a hand in this one. I don't have any Poulsen roses in the garden (that I can recall) as I tend to go for roses that get some size on them!
And Carcassonne is one of the Euro games my children love (and I not at all!).

She is turning into a rather pretty standard rose - the blossoms are just at the right height to get the benefit of their perfume. Which is odd, as she is meant to only be about a foot high!
GORGEOUS!
Thank you - she is down to just one flower now, I think she wore herself out...
