A 5m high sheep is a weird thing to meet on a mountain road -

mountain sheep 001

Actually something equally weird is why this photo has had 3891 views on my Flickr account - which is as many as all the other pictures added together!

That sheep sculpture is wonderful and it is a bit strange for the second photo to have so many hits though I love those black and red shoes.
I loved the sheep - sadly he was finally demolished by a severe gale last winter.

The black and red shoes belonged to my daughter, but I think they are now worn out and binned.
I love the goat, and remember when you had the follow-up photo of how it had been pushed over by the winds.

I suspect the other photo got so many views because it's shoes ... although I've never been bitten by the shoe bug, I certainly know enough women who love shoes and who would adore looking at that pic with the red bows matching the nail polish and so nicely balanced by the turquoise pumps.

It was sad when the poor sheep was killed off by the storm.

The shoe photo is just one of those instant things that is actually rather a good colour palette.
I wonder if you've been titillating a bunch of foot fetishists... ;-)
Quite possibly - it is tagged 'shoes' - but if it keeps them happy...
Great choices! I looked at the images first on my phone and thought, wow, what a perspective, if the sheep is that big, compared to the motorcyclist. I didn't realise at first that this was painted on the building! *g* That sheep is gorgeous, too. Is it a permanent installation?
That number of views is indeed weird!
The sheep was there for a couple of years but eventually was blown over, and apart, in a gale. The couple who built it, and another couple of large structures over the years, regard them as transient, but they stay in place until nature takes its course.

The number of people who look at the picture of the two girls shoes is really weird.
no clue about the footsies but i think the sheep is cool

Isn't it cool! As for the shoes - I have no idea either.
That is indeed a unique sheep!
Sadly he is no more - a gale blew him over, and apart, last winter :(
That sheep is definitely different, and very cleverly done!

As a confirmed shoe-hater, I can't really comment on the shoes. lol
The sheep is so clever, made out of all natural materials.

I think the shoes with the red bows (D-d's) are very beautiful - but I would never wear them. My current footwear for most purposes are a pair of these -

*laughs* I love sheep, but the other is a puzzle.
The second most popular picture is almost as weird - a gravestone in a small country churchyard which was viewed a lot a couple of years ago - I think it must have been found by someone on a genealogy site and everyone else who might have been related to the man who had drowned at sea came to look at it!
