Slight catch-up...

I've not been very well for the last couple of weeks so I haven't been able to do much, but I do have a couple of pictures. Nothing too surprising...

For the prompt "Fast", another train pic, this time heading into Paddington fairly close to the camera and at fair speed last week. One again I show my unerring ability to get to the station after dark so pictures need long exposures...

And a couple for Christmas and Decoration, someone's Xmas decorations on Portobello Road, London, earlier today.

That FAST image is great.

Love Christmas decs - just hope they don't have to look out of their window though!
I have no idea who lives there - given that the whole road is horribly expensive they're probably eccentric millionaires or something. I think that most people who live there tend to have their blinds down most of the time, with thousands of tourists going past on market day it has to be like living in a goldfish bowl, so they're probably not too worried about looking out.
Sorry you've not been well.

I especially like the train pic.
It's just a cold that seems to have decided to settle on my chest and won't go away, slowly shaking it off but the key word there is slowly. Glad you liked the picture.
I hope you're feeling better.

That is an awesome train pic!
Thanks - it's just a cold that apparently decided to take up permanent residence but is slowly getting better. The train was good, they're not usually that fast that close to Paddington Station.
Oh, those decorations are fantastically, wonderfully over the top. I bet they look great after dark.

I like the blur of the train across the first one.
Unfortunately I probably won't go back there after dark any time soon, my current plan is to take it easy and keep warm until my cold is completely gone. The train was a nice surprise, they're usually slower by the time they get to that point.
