Since I ended up failing in my attempt to catch up last year, I decided to just start with a clean slate for this year and try to keep up!

This was taken at the Racetrack Playa out in Death Valley. The area is dry for much of the year, but during the rainy season can get quite a bit of precipitation... the ground will develop a thin layer of water that will partially freeze and when a high wind kicks up, the wind will push rocks across the ground, leaving grooves behind and giving them the appearance of having moved on their own.
