Great choices for this prompt! The rose photo is stunning. And how nice to put a face to your name, too. :o)
Thanks very much ... it's part of why I love photos - seeing something of friends lives.
I do love the way black & white shows up details. And what a nice picture of you.
It is great to be able to focus on the shapes in B&W, isn't it?

Thanks - and of course my hair is part of the White of the image, nowadays!!
nice bokeh though personally I feel it would be better if the flower is not so centered.
Thanks - although I tend to find a focus on something does work better centrally, although more generalised is better using the rule-of-thirds. But that is the great thing of art - we all like something different.
What a lovely picture of you.

The rose is beautiful. Black and white really emphasises the textures and shapes, doesn't it.

Yes, you really focus on the shape when in B&W, don't you?
What a sweet pic of you!

The rose is lovely.

The rose picture is lovely. And the other one is fun, especially like the startled-looking owl on the left.

Thanks very much ... it's part of why I love photos - seeing something of friends lives. Mum collected owls, so that was a fun tribute to her!
