I had too much choice for this prompt - so many photos of stone buildings and architectural details of stone. So I decided to go for a natural structure - a stone arch on the coast between the Tyne and the Wear. I took this photo when I paused on the way to Sunderland, one day in July.
The same day and the reason I was going to Sunderland - the Tall Ships came to the Wear. Obviously, their sails are furled at the quayside. The nearer one is the Polish tall ship, the Fryderyk Chopin. The one beyond it, next the the quay itself, is the Norwegian Sørlandet.
I don't remember the name of the other one, around the corner, although that is the one whose sails you can see most clearly in this picture.
